Helpful DNA and Protein Synthesis Resources

posted Oct 1, 2013, 6:26 PM by Jerrid Johansen
Here is a link to an awesome website called Learn.genetics from the University of Utah.  The entire website is fantastic and I encourage you to look around and check out all of the modules and interactive activities they have on the site.

At this point I encourage you to spend some time with The Tour of the Basics.

In the module, DNA to Protein you practice Chargaff's rule and build a DNA molecule, perform Transcription and Translation, and see how proteins are made and used to make lightning bugs "light up."
